Please note : currently one airline company operate to/from Socotra per week Yemenia airline every Wednesday to/from Socotra ( Route: Cairo- Socotra- Socotra ) via Suyun passengers stay in the plane.
Visa Matters

Yemeni visa regulations have been changed several times and obtaining entry visa upon arrival was canceled in February 2010.It is necessary for non-Yemeni passport holders to obtain an entry visa to go to Yemen whether the trip is for tourism or business.

· Therefore, you must get your entry visa in advance at the Yemeni embassy or consulate in your home country. The procedure however is not complicated and almost any nationality should be able to get an entry visa You only need an Invitation Letter from travel/tourism company who is organizing the trip. Normally, the visitor is given one month residence permit.

For your convenience Socotra Fishing Adventures is able to issue visas for its clients in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yemen. Just send us the colorful copy of your passport by email.The issuing process will require about 5 - 7 days to be completed. Once the entry visa is issuing and ready, Socotra Tours will email you an electronic copy of the original visa. The original copy will be handed to you by our visa sponsor upon your arrival and he will assist you at immigration office at the airport.
